The Role

Driver behind the community and staff at the site. Work closely with the Marketing & Events team Passionate about Soho Works and upholds its standards and core ethos. Assumes full responsibility for the operation of the Soho Works site, its services, staff and users Ensures maximum revenue and profit is achieved from all non-membership sales opportunities and events Work closely with the membership manager to ensure good communication of new members and movements. Responsibility for site budget and meeting operational targets Runs monthly management meetings Daily revenue and payment systems and reconciliation of any issues Daily banking (Delegated to Night staff) with any issues resolved by GM Processes the weekly 'pouch' - health and safety report, payroll, cost control etc. Weekly Checking and submitting of hours to payroll Responsible for weekly F&B and Reception team rotas / Approving them Monitor and report on weekly variable costs via checkbook, liaise with Business accountant for
any queries Maintain staff product knowledge and communication of any changes Ensure frequent training in the unit as needed Any ad hoc duties as directed by Soho Works Directors of Operations Implements new business strategies (as directed by Soho Works HQ) Feedback to Soho Works HQ on operational systems and possible areas for improvement Oversees the recruitment of all new employees Deals with disciplinary issues and seeks advice from HR when necessary Responsible for routine site maintenance / work closely with group H&S team. Negotiation and management of site-related suppliers and contractors - day-to-day contact The upkeep and general awareness of all health and safety related items / Audits Weekly stock take and reconciliation/investigation of any issues Ensuring upkeep of Soho Works Standards Rolling contracts in place for all equipment where necessary - ie Aircon, plumbing, electricity - and checks done per health and safety laws and regulations Ordering of
food/beverage/service stock and identifying potential new stock items Benefits
