Birmingham Temporary AECOM are looking for a Finance Administration Assistant to join the growing Central Ecology Team in their vibrant project office in the heart of Birmingham city centre. This new position will provide support and assistance to the Financial Project Manager in carrying out essential tasks to ensure that the project runs smoothly and efficiently.
We are looking for someone who is hard-working, thorough, proactive, helpful and with an excellent eye for detail. We don?t require the candidate to have previous experience or qualifications in finance, however it?s important that the person should be interested in learning about the work involved and some administration experience would be beneficial. We are growing our successful team and we are looking for people who want to develop their skills and experience within AECOM as part of that team.

Minimum Requirements
+ Weekly Timecard Audits against ITD Report
+ AECOM Expense Audits (particularly for agency staff)
+ Formatting weekly financial reports
+ Chasing for missing bill rates
+ Raising and issuing weekly work orders
+ Weekly sub-contractor labour and expense spreadsheet audits / Monthly sub-contractor invoice audits
+ Time and expense movements
+ Chasing sub-contractors for weekly time, expense and mileagespreadsheets
+ Obtaining travel invoice & travel report audits
+ Accounts payable supplier payment set ups
+ Maintaining RAG (Rates & Grades) table
+ Auditing sub-contractor expense receipts
+ Supplier invoice coding
+ Assist with month-end preparation & reports for CommercialTeam
Preferred Qualifications
+ Previous administration experience would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
+ Confident user of Microsoft office 365 (Word, Excel and Outlook).
+ Ability to work well within a team.
+ Be able to work to deadlines.
+ Be able to work on one?s own initiative.
+ Able and willing to learn new skills.
+ Minimum Grade C in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent). Higher qualifications relevant to administration, business, health and safety, or sciences and engineering would be of value.
