Position Title: Director of Content Studios, Reuters Consumer

Role Summary:

The Director of Content Studios, Reuters Consumer, will be responsible overseeing all custom content output from the commercial content marketing and broadcast solutions teams. This role will be responsile for the creative, operational and production aspects of content creation and delivery to the end customer. Key areas of responsibility include:
* Leading all aspects of the creative process for custom digital advertising solutions to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and within compliance regulations.
* Serving as the first point of contact for sales and making decisions to best deliver customer outcomes.
* Serving as the creative director for the creation of compelling and persuasive content.

Accountabilities:
* Lead the design and creation of original content for broadcasters, brands and their agencies and media partners across all formats, using internal and external execution resources.
* Develop an overarching plan for content creation and implementation across segments, forms and geographies.
* Originate persuasive storytelling with content relevant to customers.
* Introduce and implement new storytelling models to maximize impact.
* Partner with sales and other stakeholders to create content that supports customer opportunities.
* Oversee projects from pitch to production, ensuring content is created and executed on time and on budget.
* Ensure alignment and governance of message and tone in the creation of content.
* Support the management of key customer relationships.
* Drive and evangelize the Reuters brand including speaking/ presenting at external events.
* People management: Guide development of a high performing creative team ensuring they receive sufficient structured training, monitoring and mentoring as appropriate.
* Play a core role on Consumer management team, influencing direction and strategy over time. Participate in key management processes including weekly business planning meetings
* Ensure content complies with the Reuters Trust Principles and commercial policies

Key Deliverables:
* Operational synergies between content marketing and broadcastsolutions
* New content formats for FAANGs and OTT
* View the team as a mini profit centre, and make a positive net contribution to the business (not just gross revenue and costcontrol)
* Contributions to revenue plan achievement
* Cost of sale and expense management
* Customer satisfaction
* Ensure client projects hit agreed performance metrics

Technical /Professional Skills & Competencies:

Essential Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven leadership experience in global media organizations working across different functions and media types
* Previous experience of working with both agency and direct clientenvironments
* Proven track record of successfully Influencing senior and C level executives
* Strong background of working successfully in a sales-led environment and supporting a field sales team - sales experiencepreferred
* Online landscape and competitive products and strategies
* Ad Operations and product development
* In-depth understanding of all aspects of the productionprocess
* Supplier engagement and management
* Budget Management
* Extensive creative execution contacts - writers, video, producers etc.
* Multi-platform content production experience from creative direction to client delivery.
* Understanding of when to use which solutions i.e. social, branded content, events, competitions, advertising, video - in order to answer the client brief effectively and profitably.

Desired Skills:
* Background as a (commercially savvy) journalist a bonus.
* Background having worked in a creative agency or as an independent multi platform producer is a bonus.
